Mouse Tweaks mod 26.1.2 appears in current project version listings for multiple loaders. Even when the Minecraft version is correct, you still need the matching Forge, Fabric or NeoForge build.
Treat version and loader as one requirement
A correct 26.1.2 label is only half of the compatibility check. Confirm the loader shown on the release matches the loader your game profile uses.
Use one Mouse Tweaks build per profile
Keep only the JAR intended for that profile’s loader and game version. Duplicate versions in the same mods directory can cause confusion and make troubleshooting harder.
Launch the loader profile, not vanilla
